Ummm...Absent??!!

They say absence makes the heart grow fonder!! Does it really with a blog, though??!! I'd say not!!! To any that still check on my blog, I apologize. I have completely neglected this blog (and my family blog as well) for almost a year now!! There is no excuse for it...so, there! My apologies.

I am working on really trying to grow the business this year. I have many ideas, but I have a difficult time trying to hone them!! Does that make sense? I mean, if I had the means and the time I would sell pretty much EVERYTHING! I love creating and the outlet that it provides me! I will be updating regularly as well!!

I got a new computer for Christmas, thanks to my lovely husband! And I have already been putting the miles on it! I'm in the process of transferring files, etc., right now. I will be putting up sneak peaks of work and potential samples. I will be updating my Facebook page as well!! Keep me in check with this!!

For example, here is a sample that I made for my Mom for a school shirt. This is what I will now send out to customers if it is a custom design!

News...News...News!!!

That definitely has a double meaning for this post!! I have new pics and "new news"!!! I am finally biting the bullet and expanding the business. I am busy working on the new website and will post a link as soon as it is ready!! I will carry new lines and new products -- including several smocked clothing lines, bags and gifts!! I am so excited with this news!!!

2011...really??

2010 was such a great year for me and for the Little Azalea. I'm learning so much more about the business and hope to expand and build the website in the new year (I know I say that a lot, right?). I really feel the Lord leading me to expand and will work diligently this year to offer more items. I'd love suggestions of more items you might like to see!

Here are just a few of the fun projects I finished at the end of last year!! I did so many Christmas appliques, too!! I didn't even take pics of all of them. December was BUSY...and I couldn't have been more thankful!! Thanks again for a great 2010. Looking forward to 2011. Again, if you'd like to see some new products, make a comment!!

Pumpkin Time

Here are some fun projects I did for some special boys in my life!!  I just LOVED how the shirts turned out...and I love those boys!!

They had a blast and were SO much fun!!!!  I love Fall (wish it felt more like Fall right now, but I love it nonetheless)!

Picture Update and Recent Projects

YAY!!!!!  I got a new machine this Summer!!  It has been just fabulous!!  It's wonderful and allows me to create quality products at a faster pace.  I also moved the sewing room into our guest bedroom - it's been a nice change to have space of my own devoted to my projects.

Many apologies

I want to apologize to those of you who read (or used to read) this blog regularly!!  It has been a difficult Summer for my family, but I have been very busy working on SO many things for The Little Azalea.  I got a new embroidery machine!!!!!!!  And I love it!!!!  I'm trying my hand at a website and am no too good at that yet!!  I've got tons of pictures to post and will do that at some point this week.  I have a huge project list right now, which is WONDERFUL!!  I just love it and am so thankful for it!!  So, please stay tuned.  I promise there will be some updating...

Oh, I am updating my applique list as well.  I have over 100 of them and have not updated them in a while either.  I have tons of appliques that I may never sample, so if you see one on the applique list that hasn't been sampled I will still be happy to do that applique for you!!
