Picture Update and Recent Projects

YAY!!!!!  I got a new machine this Summer!!  It has been just fabulous!!  It's wonderful and allows me to create quality products at a faster pace.  I also moved the sewing room into our guest bedroom - it's been a nice change to have space of my own devoted to my projects.

Here are just a few of the projects I've been working on recently.  I've been very busy with orders (and am SO thankful for that)

Thanks for stopping by again -- looking forward to doing more Fall and Winter projects now!!  Thanks again for your patience.  I'll be posting more projects soon I hope!  Until then...

Many apologies

I want to apologize to those of you who read (or used to read) this blog regularly!!  It has been a difficult Summer for my family, but I have been very busy working on SO many things for The Little Azalea.  I got a new embroidery machine!!!!!!!  And I love it!!!!  I'm trying my hand at a website and am no too good at that yet!!  I've got tons of pictures to post and will do that at some point this week.  I have a huge project list right now, which is WONDERFUL!!  I just love it and am so thankful for it!!  So, please stay tuned.  I promise there will be some updating...

Oh, I am updating my applique list as well.  I have over 100 of them and have not updated them in a while either.  I have tons of appliques that I may never sample, so if you see one on the applique list that hasn't been sampled I will still be happy to do that applique for you!!

Thanks again for your business and your loyalty!!!

Hot Town, Summer in the City...

...and I'm thankful I've been inside sewing away.  Here are some of the projects I've been working on.  These aren't even all of the pics!!  I am so thankful for each of you that continue to support the Little Azalea.  It is a joy to be a part of your lives in this way!!

This is my precious niece's birthday outfit.  She wanted a birthday cake with the number 5 on top.  Her favorite colors are pink and green!!  She loved it!

These pantaloons are tiny green and white gingham!!  Aren't they adorable!

I love this romper!! These t-shirt rompers are some of my favorites!!  This was for a friend whose son, Jake, just turned a year old!!!

This is a bib, burp cloth, onesie set I recently did.  The color of the baby's nursery was pink and green.  This set is $30.  I love the idea of matching these sets to the nursery because you know that the Mom will always love the colors...she picked them out!!

Again, another romper.  With applique and personalization, these are $20 each.  I have new colors - light blue, white, black, navy, red, gray - and in 12 months, 18 months, and 24 months.  I have many Summer appliques and fabrics and am looking toward the Fall even now.

This is actually a shower wrap that I appliqued on.  I think she actually got this at Walmart!!  I've seen some really cute ones at Kirklands recently, too.

I am constantly working on new projects.  I just love custom orders, so if you have an idea of something you like and you don't see, please email.  I will be adding pictures of new appliques soon...still working on that!!  Until next time...

Working on Summer Projects

Here are some cute things I've been working on lately.

These are cute little sets with a t-shirt and pantaloons.  The ice cream cone and
sand bucket are just perfect for the Summer!!

This is a new applique that I wanted to try out...and a new fabric I got recently.
I think it turned out so sweet!!

Baby Asher is no longer a baby.  He turned 1 this past weekend.  Wyatt couldn't make it because he was sick, but he wanted Asher to have something special.  I just love these rompers.
Romper with applique and name - $20

I'm taking a little break until the end of May.  We've got a lot going on with our families and I need to be with them.  I will start working on orders again JUNE 1.  You may continue to email with orders in the mean time.  I will be working on a lot of samples very shortly...even thinking about Fall!!  Crazy, I know!!  Thanks again for continuing to support the Little Azalea!!!

New Baby Gifts and Sets

This is a little bib set order from a friend.  The only thing she told me is that the baby's mother liked pink and brown.

I love this "a".  It is called Buffy and I really have never used it before.  I love it, though!!  My new favorite.

This is a baby gift set (bib, burp cloth, onesie) that I did for one of the other managers at my husband's work.  He and his wife just had a baby girl, Audrey Elle.  I had so much fun making this for them!! (That's one of the things about being a nurse, you can't be TOO creative in your job.  Being creative is one of the reasons I love The Little Azalea so much!!)  Until next time...

Staying Busy

I've been busy lately with orders.  I had several orders to complete before folks went to Disney -- some monogrammed outfits and then 6 Disney shirts for my nieces.  They are going to be SO cute!  I'll post the pic of them wearing the shirt when I get it!

The left is a shirt that went with some green pants and a skirt.  The right is a sweet dress.  I love that pink!

This is a Bailey Boys outfit and I just had the name monogrammed.  This alligator is sweet isn't it!  Can't take credit for this outfit, but have done some similar.

Just a simple polo with initials.  It just really dresses it up and makes it personal.

The first round of shirts!  They took a bit longer to stitch than I thought, but SO worth it.  I thought they turned out so adorable.  These shirts are for 2 sets of sisters - Julia/Grace and then Mallory/Kinsley

The last of the two sisters...but not the least!

Until next time...

Been a long time, folks!!

I'm still trying to get all of this together!!  It's a bit harder than I thought it would be.  I've always been an organized person, but somehow all of my jobs can be a bit overwhelming.  I haven't even taken pictures of half of the projects I've finished lately, but here are 2.

Here is a jon jon I did for Jack's first birthday!!

This is  sweet baby Jack's blanket to match his UGA themed room!!!  Love it!

Still working on lots of things.  Have some Disney shirts to post soon.  My cousins are going to DisneyWorld during Masters and I'm doing the shirts!!  Can't wait! Love those girls.  Have lots of things on the horizon and looking to do A LOT more this Summer!!  Sorry updates aren't very regular.  Still working on that!!  Until then...

Hearing that old "Whirrr" again!!!

It's cold here in Augusta...believe it or not.  And I'm not just talking about my machine or my posts!!  Heehee!!  I've got some newer pics to post and am continuing to work on orders.  I had high hopes for a Spring line, but I'm not sure that will happen.  I have lots of appliques to choose from with Spring/Summer in mind and am trying to organize them in Photobucket (click on the link on the side to see all the appliques).  I will also be adding available fonts as well.

This is a sweet little Jon Jon that a friend gave me to monogram.  I thought the tools were just precious!!!

This is a sweet little font called Bumblebee!!  Isn't it sweet.  It goes well for boys or girls.

For my friend - who's thinking ahead!!  Wouldn't this be cute with jeans for school? or on a little dress or longall for first day of school?!  Thinking FAR in advance, right teachers?!!!

Please bear with me as this continues to be my part time business...unfortunately!!  Thanks for all of your support in 2009 and your continued support in 2010!!  These projects continue to bring me a creative outlet and TONS of joy!!!!  Thanks again!!
